I’m Preston Robinson, I started out as an apprentice, bird boy for Castile Creek Kennels. I have moved into the position of young dog trainer.  I grew up in the West Georgia area in a small town called Tallapoosa, Georgia. I am married to my lifelong best friend Layton Robinson.

Layton and I grew up together and went to the same high school. We both decided to pursue degrees from The University of Alabama. Layton graduated with her BSN and is currently a traveling registered nurse while I graduated with degrees in finance and accounting. During college, I bought and trained my first Labrador retriever and fell in love with the process of training dogs. After we graduated, Layton began her career as a registered nurse while I started working for a large accounting firm with the CPA track in mind.

I purchased my second dog then realized I could not spend my life and career in accounting. Training dogs is my passion and I was spending most of my waking hours thinking about it. The little time I had outside of work, I spent training and learning anything I could get my hands on. I was fortunate, or lucky enough, to have an encounter with Lyle Steinman where he offered me a job at CCK and changed the course of my life. I will always be thankful to my family and team here at CCK for this amazing opportunity to learn and grow as a trainer and a person.
